VAMPIRE CLANS

NICKNAME: Assassins. The Assamites are a group of skilled, select assassins who often commit contract killings in exchange for the blood of other vampires. However, they are also guardians of justice, warriors, and scholars. CLAN CURSE: Addicted to Killing and the taste of Vampire Blood.

NICKNAME: Rabble. The Brujah have a reputation as fierce warriors and scholars. Quick to anger and always passionate, in modern times you will find more punks and thugs than the warriors or scholars of old.

NICKNAME: Setites, Serpents. The Followers of Set, who's god is also known as Sutekh of the Snake Clan, are as much a religion as they are a Clan. Priests of their religion are equally pimps, pushers and cultivators of debauchery and vice. Setites prey upon the desperate, providing all they desire...for a price.

NICKNAME: Outlanders. Nomads who hold closer ties to the wild places than most of their city-bound cousins, they are also closer to the animal aspect of the Beast, and are masters of the Protean Discipline. They were one of the seven founding clans of the Camarilla.

NICKNAME: Necromancers. Clan Giovanni are a highly organized clan heavily focused on the goals of money, global finances, and necromantic power. Sadistic and incestuous, their progeny are their own ghouls. The Clan consists of a network of interrelated families. As a result, despite popular conception, not all Giovanni are Italian.

NICKNAME: Keepers. The LaSombra are Masters of Shadow and the night who exist for their own success. They believe that might makes right, and are willing to sacrifice anything to achieve their goals. A clan that uses spirituality as a tool rather than seeking honest enlightenment, they seek power for the sake of power alone.

NICKNAME: Lunatics. Malkavians are an enigmatic and deeply disturbed group of Cainites. They are deranged vampires, afflicted with the insanity of their Antediluvian progenitor. Members of the clan have assumed the roles of seers and oracles, and are bound by strange compulsions. They are also notorious pranksters whose "jokes" range from silly to sadistic.

NICKNAME: Sewer Rats. The archetypal Nosferatu resembles Max Shreck's Count Orlok, though the curse has any number of variations. The Nosferatu are the spymasters of the dead, collecting information and selling it for a dear price. They are also the masters of the underground, living in the sewers for protection.

NICKNAME: Deceivers. Known as wandering tricksters, mystics, and vagabonds, the Ravnos are incurable daredevils who gleefully pursue the art of unliving dangerously and courting danger. Their compulsions can range from beneficial ones (like defending innocents or donating for the poor) to deviant ones.

NICKNAME: Degenerates. Known for being the most beautiful, sensual, seductive, emotional and glamorous of the Kindred, the Toreador are responsible for the legends of vampires who seduce and entice their prey with beauty, love, artistry and sensuality. They are renowned for their patronage of the arts and only Embrace childer who represent exquisite beauty and rare talent.

NICKNAME: Warlocks. Supernatural power and sorcery are the currency of this clan of secrets and magic. They are shaped by their practice of blood sorcery, giving them both sustenance and mystical power. While relying heavily on Thaumaturgy and maintaining cultic havens known as Chantries to study and share their secrets, Tremere are the only Vampires that can acquire Familiars.

NICKNAME: Fiends. Tzimisce practice a strange Discipline known as Vicissitude that allows them to twist the skin and bone of their victims. In many cases, they refine their fleshly arts by practicing upon themselves. Some prefer extreme modifications and experimentations that leave their bodies looking only vaguely humanoid.
