• Dominions of Darkness — Unlike Any Other Roleplay Game in Second Life!
  Dominions of Darkness is based on the World of Darkness® RPG tabletop gaming system and was created specifically for use in Second Life®. It features a powerful custom-scripted HUD with built-in Character Sheets that allow you to choose from a variety of human, vampire, and werewolf characters. 
• Earn Experience Points & Level Up Your Character
  Just have fun and roleplay with other Player Characters to earn XP. Then use that XP to purchase your choice of special skills, Gifts, or abilities (aka Talents). While the emphasis of the game is to engage others in roleplay to build engaging stories, a Character's level of power is always earned and rewarded through XP...not on vaguely-written freestyle abilities or how powerful their computer may be.
• Multiple SIM Opportunities
  Dominions of Darkness is designed as a growing network of Player-owned City Sims, opening up a true world of darkness. Our flagship City of Miami is the first of these cities to open. As more cities join, Players can travel the globe visiting cities, earning XP and leveling their Characters using a single DOD HUD.
• Always Free to Play!
  You never have to spend any money to play in any Dominions of Darkness City Sim. This is not, nor will it ever be, a pay-to-play game. While SIM rentals and other perks are available to enhance roleplay, these are never required. DOD HUDs are free.

OUR MISSION
Dominions of Darkness® (DOD) is dynamic RPG that takes place in today's world. We are focused on developing epic and immersive roleplay across the Dominions of Darkness universe for all Cities, focusing on engaging members, supporting City-SIM Owners, and deemphasizing the overall importance of traffic.

All City Sims use the Dominions of Darkness Players HUD, allowing Roleplayers to visit/play/explore multiple DOD City Sims using the same RPG system and rules to earn Experience Points (XP). (What's the point of living in a virtual "world" if you're stuck roleplaying in just one place?")

To become a Roleplayer in Dominions of Darkness, Players must be:

• Members of Second Life (Click here to join Second Life - it's Free!) This is the platform for the roleplay where the City Sims reside.
  
  
• 18 years of age or older. While we adhere to roleplay on a consent basis, storylines are of an adult nature and may contain horror, violence, sex and other mature themes that are inappropriate for those under 18 years of age.
  
  
• Members of Dominions of Darkness Group in Second Life. (It's Free to Play! Simply log into any Dominions of Darkness sim's landing platform and there will be a "JOIN" link.) You will also need to pick up a free DOD Player's HUD at the HUD Kiosk. All members receive one free Player's HUD.

Other city sims will be added in time, allowing Roleplayers the unique opportunity to travel and roleplay in different cities around the world while still earning experience points, growing their characters and gaining in powers and abilities. The City of Miami is the first of these unique roleplay cities in Second Life.
